People and Performance Officer: $31-$36 per hour

We are on the lookout for a new member of our collaborative, close-knit People and Performance Team.

We want a real people person, who is well organised, and has a good eye for detail.

In this role, you will work closely with our Advisors and other internal stakeholders to deliver generalist activities such as payroll processing and maintenance, end-to-end recruitment, coordinating various programmes, and frameworks as well as maintaining the integrity of our databases and intranet sites.

This is a part time (32 hours per week, Monday – Friday) permanent position based in Marton, with the ability to work from home at times.

He aha te mahi| What you will do

  • Process payroll, and provide advice to staff
  • Provide administrative support for the People and Performance functions, including recruitment
  • Oversee the coordination of various committees and programmes
  • Administer relevant content and updates to our intranet pages

Ko wai to Pukeka| What you will bring

  • Certificate level qualification, or equivalent previous administrative experience in a relevant field such as HR, Health and Safety or organisational development
  • Knowledge of HR and payroll related legislation and best practice or the ability to interpret legislation
  • Strong networking and consultative approach
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy
  • Intermediate level of computer literacy. Experience with the Office 365 suite SharePoint, and Teams is an advantage
