Notice to Rural Community Property Owners

Until further notice, rural property owners are requested not to use the rural roads affected by the floods in the Rangitikei District for heavy truck haulage, including the movement of stock. There is extensive damage on our roading network, numerous slips and drop-outs have made the roads dangerous, so this request is made for safety reasons.

Authorisation to use the roads in the district for heavy haulage needs to be granted by the Rangitikei District Council, please contact Anna Thompson on 06 327 0162 or Charlotte Jeffery on 06 327 0094 in the first instance.
