Thankfully the rain has now eased, we are still expecting some more light rain at times until the weekend, but this isn't expected to cause any major issues. We will continue to monitor river and stream levels and areas that are, and can be affected, by surface flooding.
All roads in and around Marton are OPEN, while there is still some surface flooding the water is draining away, as the rain has thankfully eased. Please drive carefully as the roads will remain wet for some time.
