Recent Submissions

Thank you to those people and organisations who have submitted to the Consultation Document for the 2016/17 Annual Plan (‘What’s new, what’s changed…?) and to other Council proposals put out for consultation over the same period – i.e. the proposed Fees and Charges for 2016/17, the proposed amendments to the Dog owner responsibility policy and associated bylaw, the review of the Gambling class 4 Venue Policy and the TAB Venue policy, and the proposed change to the Speed Limit Bylaw in Parewanui Road in Bulls.

Submissions closed at noon on 6 May 2016.

Council will meet on Monday 16 May 2016 from 9.30 am to hear oral submissions on these various proposals.

Rangitikei College Video Submission

At its meeting on 26 May 2016 (from 1.00 pm), Council deliberates on all submissions – i.e. written and oral – with the intention of making final decisions.

However, in the case of the Annual Plan, this will not be adopted until Council’s meeting on 30 June 2016 to allow review of budgets in the light of the decisions made.

Council sets the rates for 2016/17 at this June meeting.
