Pavement testing - Broadway, Marton

Downer NZ are planning to undertake pavement testing on the roundabout located between Broadway and Wellington Road on Sunday, 19 July between 1:00pm and 5:00pm. A stop/go operation will be implemented to enable the workers to undertake the test pits on areas around the roundabout and traffic will be held for short periods at a time in each direction.

The Council requests that residents avoid all non-essential travel - particularly to Whanganui - as we are expecting road closures around Whangaehu at approximately 10am Wednesday morning.
