Representation Review – Pre-Consultation - Closed

Council is required to undertake a representation review every 6 years. This review considers among other things, the ward structure, and whether to retain community boards.
To assist Council in developing its proposal, pre-consultation is being undertaken on the following issues:
- Whether the Ratana Community wishes to retain the Ratana Community Board.
- Whether the Taihape Ward wishes to retain the Taihape Community Board.
- Two ward structure options for the community to choose from:
1. Amended Status Quo – 5 wards
2. A 3 ward structure – north, central, south
To understand the community’s views, Council has developed a quick survey. It would be very valuable for Council in further developing its preferred representation option if you were to complete the survey. It is anonymous and should only take a couple of minutes to complete.
