Scotts Ferry Stormwater Upgrade

Due to recent weather delays ID loader are unable to commence work at Scotts Ferry until next year - 2021.

From 16 November 2020 Loaders Wanganui has been contracted by the Rangitīkei District Council for the upcoming contract C1103 Scott’s Ferry Stormwater Upgrade

The purpose of these works is to deliver better stormwater solutions to address surface flooding that is prone in this area should the river level exceed the height of the Horizons Stop Bank.

This contract involves Drainage works of 1300 m of subsoil drain from one end of the town to the other (both sides) as well as some pipe works that come across the road. At no stage will the road be completely blocked off there will be one lane open at all time. These works will run into late January 2021 – as we all stop for a Christmas break; we will ensure that the site is left in a tidy fashion and there will be no disruption to anyone over the Christmas / Holiday Period.

Traffic Management will be set up for the duration of the contract and our team will limit any disruption to you at all times.
