COVID-19 Alert Level Update

Auckland is at Alert Level 3. Rest of New Zealand is at Alert Level 2
From 11:59pm Sunday 14 February, Auckland moved to Alert Level 3, and at the same time the rest of New Zealand moves to Alert Level 2.

Rules for Alert Level 2 (the rest of New Zealand)
- Businesses and schools remain open but public health guidance including physical distancing and record keeping need to be maintained.
- Mass gatherings will need to be limited to 100 people.
- Hospitality businesses must keep groups of customers separated, seated, and served by a single person with a maximum of 100 people at a time
- Keep physical distancing of 2 metres from people you don’t know when out in public.
- Keep 1 metre physical distancing in controlled environments like workplaces, where practical.
- Use the NZ COVID Tracer app to record where you go or sign in if you can’t use the app.
- Wash your hands.
- Wear a face covering if you are in an enclosed space like on public transport.
- Stay home if you are sick or vulnerable.
- Hospitality businesses must keep groups of customers separated, seated and served by a single person.
- Gatherings of up to 100 people are allowed for wedding services, funerals, and tangihanga.
