Pavement testing - Broadway, Marton

Downer NZ are planning to undertake pavement testing on the roundabout located between Broadway and Wellington Road on Sunday, 19 July between 1:00pm and 5:00pm. A stop/go operation will be implemented to enable the workers to undertake the test pits on areas around the roundabout and traffic will be held for short periods at a time in each direction.

The first of many Community Meetings have just been held. These meetings are for all members of the community to attend.

Mayor Andy Watson and Councillors will be discussing their aspirations and listening to suggestions for our District's Long Term Plan (LTP) 2021-2031.

There are many more engagement dates across the district over the next few weeks at most town halls and marae. We will also be hosting several Facebook Live chats where Mayor Andy will give you some insight into the proposed plans and potential solutions around our LTP key choices. During these chats, you will be able to ask questions and the Mayor, Councillors or expert Council staff will be able to give a live response.
