Hunterville Area Road Works

A number of roads in the Hunterville area were damaged during a weather event in early December.
Over the Christmas break we will have several crews continuing with the clean.

Mt Curl Road
CLOSED as a through route. The road is closed due to a large slip at Property Number 264, Lourie’s Farm. Expected to reopen first week in January 2022.

Mangahoe Road
Open to traffic. Significant areas of road with temporary metal surfacing.

Turakina Valley Road between Ongo Road and Okaka Road (Papanui Junctions), Kie Kie Road, Murimotu Road, West Road, Mangarere Road, Agnew Road, Watershed Road, Otara Road, Te Houhou Road, Tiriraukawa Road, Te Kapua, Kawhatau Valley Road
CARE must be taken when using the above roads due to slips and slippery road surface.
