Dog Registrations Expiring Soon - New Registration Due 1 July

Dog registrations will expire on 30 June. Get your registration for 2022/23 in before July 31 to avoid a late fee. All dogs must be registered before they reach 3 months of age.

Current dog owners will receive an invoice in the mail over the next couple of weeks. Registrations can be paid online or at any information centre or library.

Microchipping

All dogs except working dogs must be microchipped. Council offers a microchipping service. Call us on 0800 422 522 if you would like to book this service.

Multi Dog Permit

Did you know we have a Multi Dog Permit Bylaw? This means if you have 3 or more dogs (in a residential area) you are required to apply for a permit. Apply for your multi dog permit by filling out the online form.
