Taihape residents have until the 15th of January 2020 to swap their yellow rubbish bags at New World in Taihape, for the new black rubbish bags, provided by Rangitikei Wheelie Bins.

Final Election Results 2019

The final election results were declared today. Voter turnout for the 2019 elections was 46.79%. This was a slight decrease on the 2016 elections, which was 47.86%.

Road Closures/Damage - Northern Turakina Valley (TV3) and Watershed Roads

Proposed Amendment to the Stock Droving and Grazing Bylaw 2013

Under the current Bylaw there is no provision restricting grazing on a road reserve directly adjacent to a property without the written permission of either the owner of the property adjacent to the road reserve which is proposed for grazing or an authorised owner of the Council. This proposed amendment address this issue.
