Rangitikei Wheelie Bins
PLEASE NOTE: As of March 2025 Rangitikei Wheelie Bins no longer provides a kerbside collection in the Rangitīkei District.
Rangitīkei District Council does not provide kerbside collection.
Residents can choose any collection provider that services their area of the district.
The following businesses provide kerbside collection in our district:

Complete Trash provide kerbside wheelie bin service in the following townships:
- Marton and Crofton.
- Bulls, Turakina, Koitiata, Whangaehu, Rātana and Scott's Ferry.
- Taihape, Utiku, Mangaweka and Hunterville.

$5 Price stickers can be purchased at Mad Tom's Café Marton, Taylor's/Challenge Gas Station Hunterville, Bulls Four Square and Jelly's Rātana Post shop.

Waibins.co.nz (a division of Smart Environmental)
Are servicing all of the areas previously serviced by Rangitikei Wheelie Bins.
They carry out a kerbside wheelie bin service in the following townships (There is no bag service):
- Whangaehu, Rātana, Turakina, Koitiata,
- Marton residential and commercial. Marton Rural
- Hunterville, Taihape, Bulls, Scotts Ferry
Wheelie bins need to be on the kerbside by 7:00am or earlier on day of advertised collection.
WaiBins will send collection reminders to customers during the first few weeks and update this website with regular days.
Any enquiries regarding collection of waste from roadside should be directed towards either private company.

Budget Waste/Envirowaste
Budget Waste/Envirowaste carry out a private wheelie bin service in the following townships:
- Wednesday - Turakina Beach, Bulls, Rātana, Whangaehu, Scotts Ferry, Turakina Beach and Crofton (Makirikiri Road, Neil Dow Street and Lawson Street)
- Thursday - Marton, Turakina and Crofton (Wellington Road)
- Friday - Taihape and Hunterville
Note: Budget Waste/Envirowaste, as of 31 December 2019, no longer collect yellow bags from kerbsides at Taihape and Hunterville.
